The OMNI Competition is Back!

Are you a musician? Do you know any young talent? The Orchestre Métropolitain is looking for musicians aged 7 to 17 to take part in its OMNI Music Competition!

This competition aims to inspire young people to practice their instruments by giving them the opportunity to grow and excel through a gratifying process that can have a decisive impact on their musical future. Over $26,000 in prizes to be won, including 3 grand prizes!

For its sixth edition and for the second year running, the OMNI Competition will have two tracks: a participation track and a competition track. Young musicians between the ages of 7 and 17 from across Canada are encouraged to register for either of the tracks by submitting a video of themselves performing. The submission deadline is Monday, February 26, 2024, for the Piano category, March 11, 2024, for the Strings category and March 18, 2024, for the Winds and Percussion category.
