OMNI Music Competition
4th edition (virtual)

The Orchestre Métropolitain is excited to announce that a fourth edition of the OMNI Music Competition will be held in 2022.

The Orchestre encourages young musicians across Canada and between the ages of 7 and 17 to showcase their talent by submitting a video of their performance. All performances will be available for viewing on the OM’s YouTube channel on April 22, 23 and 24, 2022. The final round of the competition will be held in the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur on May 28 and 29.

This year’s OMNI Competition will give young people between the ages of 7 and 17 the opportunity to share their talent in a friendly competition that creates a sense of togetherness, a core value of OM musicians and conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Not only will the event build a network of young musicians who share a passion for music, but it will give them the opportunity to work with Orchestre Métropolitain musicians virtually. It’s sure to be a formative experience!
