FIRST MAJOR CULTURAL DONATION

Did you know that the Government of Quebec offers an additional 25% tax credit for a first major cultural donation?

For all first individual donations of $5,000 to $25,000 to a cultural organization, the Government of Quebec offers a 25% credit, making the actual cost of the donation only a quarter of the total amount. 

Note that this measure can only be used once in an individual’s lifetime and the donation must be made in cash.
