The health of the public attending our concerts, as well as that of our musicians and employees, is our utmost priority. The Orchestre Métropolitain has therefore put measures in place in order to continue to serve you from afar.
Due to this unprecedented situation and the most recent directives give by the governmental authorities, the Orchestre Métropolitain announces the untimely end of its current season, for all events scheduled for the Maison symphonique de Montréal as well as throughout the Montreal boroughs under the CAM Touring Program.
Q. What is happening with the subscription period for the 2020-2021 season?
A. The details of next season’s programming were unveiled last Thursday, March 12, at the same time that governmental authorities announced measures to control the pandemic. The brochure was sent to our subscribers and clientele. Our employees are working hard from home to help you with your subscription. As such, it is still possible to subscribe via our website, or telephone at 514-598-0870, extension 34. In light of the current situation, response times may be longer than usual. The 2019-2020 subscribers will maintain their seating priority. We have postponed the deadline until our operations return to normal.
Q. How long will it take to process my request?
A. Please note that response times may be longer than usual. We kindly ask that you refrain from calling to ask when you will receive a response. Our team is hard at work, but from home. This is an unprecedented situation and as such, we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Q. Will the cancelled concerts be rescheduled for a later date?
A. The cancelled concerts will not be rescheduled.
Q. Are the OM administrative offices or the customer service desks of the Place des Arts still open?
A. No. All employees of the OM and Place des Arts are currently working from home until further notice. All clients are therefore invited to communicate with us by phone (see contact information above).
