COVID-19: Current situation

Concert cancellations – January to May 2021

In light of the new government guidelines and restrictions, we have revised the second half of our 2020–2021 season. It is with deep regret that the OM is cancelling all concerts scheduled to take place in front of a live audience between January and May 2021 at the Maison symphonique de Montréal:

  • Miloš and the Concierto de Aranjuez – January 29
  • Blake Pouliot and Yannick Nézet-Séguin – February 21
  • The OM is Buzzing: Génial! – March 27
  • Simone Young Conducts Bruckner – April 9
  • Brahms: A German Requiem – April 28
  • Tchaikovsky with Nathalie Stutzmann – May 21

Until further notice, there will be no changes to Beethoven Marathon concerts scheduled to take place in front of a live audience on June 11, 12 and 13, 2021.

Webcast concerts

Until regular concerts can be performed in front of a live audience, the OM will continue to webcast concerts recorded at the Maison symphonique in compliance with current public health guidelines. We will provide more details about the programs for our webcast concerts in the coming days. Watch our concert webcasts.

We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and we will keep you informed about any new developments.
