Michaël Rolli

Michaël Rolli was born in Geneva. He studied art history and German literature while also attending the Geneva Conservatory of Music, where he earned a diploma in 2022. In Lausanne, he pursued a university program in theater studies and directing. In 2023, he gave a lecture on the use of violence in contemporary opera staging. Between 2023 and 2024, he completed an internship at TNM. Since 2022, he has been invited by various companies to work on different productions as a dramaturge and director.

After collaborating with various actresses on one-woman shows, he presented his first creation in 2024, Moz@rt, a small digital Singspiel in Geneva (based on Mozart’s life and music), for which he wrote the libretto and directed the production. This season, he is directing a children’s musical production in Geneva. Michaël Rolli is also a cultural commentator on radio.
