Emma Rankin

A natural-born artist, she has since developed a wide range of artistic talents, including graphic drawing, singing, and traditional Indigenous dance (Fancy Shawl Dance).
At the age of 14, she began her acting career with a recurring lead role, playing Mia in the series La Petite Mairesse, presented by Unis TV. She also voiced the lead character, Éloïse, in Radio-Canada’s audio adaptation of the book Nish by Isabelle Picard. In addition to these two major roles, she took part in the youth program Les Autochtones, tu connais?, produced and directed by Kassiwi Media.
A proud Indigenous young woman, Emma aims to share and celebrate her Innu and Anishinabe cultures through her various artistic endeavors. Her participation in the production Manikanetish marks her first experience in theatre.
