Large Cultural Donation

The Orchestre Métropolitain is delighted to be part of Mécénat Musica.

Mécénat Musica is a fundraising program designed to encourage individuals to donate $25,000 to a cultural organization.

Deadline for taking advantage of the program: December 31, 2017

The Quebec government will grant an additional 25% income tax credit for an individual’s first large cultural donation. This means that a $25,000 donation works out to a net cost of $6,750.

Mécénat Musica undertakes to double the donations received

If you donate $25,000 to the Orchestre Métropolitain by December 31, 2017, Mécénat Musica undertakes to double the donations received.

In addition, Canadian Heritage and Mécénat Placements Culture will match the donations.

In other words, a $25,000 donation from an individual will bring the Orchestre a total of $127,500.

To ensure the donations have long-term value, all monies raised under the Mécénat Musica program will be deposited in the Orchestre Métropolitain Endowment Fund administered by the Foundation of Greater Montreal.

The Orchestre Métropolitain is entering its finest years: those of self-confidence, maturity and excellence. A $25,000 donation from you will help ensure the Orchestre has a prosperous future, not only in the seasons to come but also for future generations.

We remain at your disposal to discuss ways of supporting the Orchestre and answer any question you may have.
