Description

As part of the Campbell Concerts, the Orchestre Métropolitain and Yannick Nézet-Séguin will perform an outdoor concert in front of the chalet in Mount Royal Park. This musical happening attracted more than 7,000 music lovers last year.

  • It is recommended to arrive early at the lookout, as the number of places is limited.
  • Please note that no seating will be provided except for persons with a mobility impairment, for whom a special section near the stage will be reserved. Concertgoers may, however, bring a folding chair. Part of the site will be set aside for those who do. The area in front of the stage will be reserved for people willing to sit on the ground. These concertgoers should bring a picnic blanket or mat on which to sit.
  • Please note that this concert will be canceled in the event of rain.

Special STM Shuttle Service

The Société des transports de Montréal (STM) will make a special shuttle available to music lovers who want to take public transit to the Mount Royal concert. The STM bus will travel directly—with no stops en route—between the Mont-Royal metro station and the Smith House parking lot on Mount Royal. Boarding will begin at 5:15 p.m. at the metro station at the westbound stop for the 11 bus line. Return service will begin at 8:15 p.m. if there is sufficient demand. The last return trip will be at around 10 p.m. Passengers will be required to provide a valid pass, ticket or fare.
