Opus 4
Vespers

Rachmaninoff — Tchaikovsky

First performed in Moscow on March 10, 1915, Rachmaninoff’s magnificent Vespers evoke the dusky light of day’s end and shimmer with the dark blues of early evening. Let yourself be transported by this soft and inspiring music, a summit of the Russian choral repertoire that nourishes both heart and soul. In addition to the program, Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Tchaïkovsky’s Hym of the Cherubim. An a cappella concert.
